Oh Florence, why do you captivate me so?

I can't leave you for the weekend without linking up this song for your enjoyment.  Some friends of mine, including ME are sort of addicted to it right now. It's a summer anthem in my book.  I turn the music up reaaal loud in the car and shout.  Not a pretty sight, but it's entertaining on my end.

Also, it's probably something that was popular a year ago, but hey I don't really listen to the radio.  Check it out.  Your welcome ; ) (oh well actually sorry if there's a commercial and her general oddness, but seriously listen. It's good.)

Happy Friday lovelies.  Hope you all have fun, or at least relaxing, plans this weekend.  We don't have much going on, so hopefully we will be enjoying a few quiet days.  Sunday is the Taste of Tremont for all you near Cleveland.  I would highly recommend it if you're available.

I also thought I would take a minute to show you some outtakes of our July 4th celebrations. That weekend was divine.  Could be one of my favorite weekends of the year.  A few of our friends have made it a tradition to get together on this weekend, spending it outside making jokes, getting some sun, and enjoying the lake. I truly cherish it. 

Anyways, below are a few attempts in my effort to get a good picture with Brian.

Below is proof that we did in fact make friendship bracelets.  Let me tell you - making those darn bracelets is much more time consuming and frustrating than when we were kids.  I mean one bracelet literally took me 10-12 hours. It was insane.  How did I sit still for that long as a kid? Or was I just a magician with quick little fingers? They probably weren't as stubby back then..

Collections

I love collections of things.  Something of similarity organized in a way that is beautiful and fascinating.  The catch?  This is not one of my strong suits.  I have friends that are great at this and I am constantly inspired by blogs/pinterest, etc.  But me putting one together with ease? Not so much - it takes effort and time.  This also leads to the topic of organization.  I think they go hand in hand.  If you are going to collect something, you better be able to organize it.  Ah, someday maybe?
