It was our friend BJ's 26th birthday this weekend. We all marveled at the fact that he's over the hump of 25 and closer to 30 now. I'm not sure what I'm going to do when I hit 30, but part of me feels like I'll be completely fine, considering people think I'm still in high school (I'm not.).
Anyways, back to the weekend. Katy made the most incredible food. One of which was a martha stewart mac n cheese (think fancy cheese, bread crumb topping amazingness) and the other was this incredible chocolate peanut butter cake. I've already promised Brian that I would make it for his birthday in August.
Sorry for the poor image quality - I broke our camera. I'm not sure I can publicly talk about it yet, but I'm hoping it gets fixed soon..
I was also going to flash back to last week when our client took my colleague and I on a tour of Pittsburgh. It was a very informative and educational tour and we later came to know that he volunteers as a tour guide in his free time.
The only bad part? My fear of heights in taking this old rickety machine up an incline up Mount Washington. When he said they were preserving it's age and history, I had no idea that it would feel like it had never been updated to "today's standards".
Also, I'm still sick. I have a cough that sounds like a bark that sets in every night around 8PM. I promised Brian if I'm not better by Wednesday that I would go to the doctor. Would you pray that my throat would be healed? I would very much appreciate it.
